Call for bankable projects in the African Agrifood Sector

The African Agri Council (AAC) is excited to announce a significant opportunity for transformative projects in the agrifood sector: the Investment Discovery Sessions (IDS). This initiative is a prominent component of the African Agri Investment Indaba (AAII).

The AAC is actively seeking projects that demonstrate a strong commitment to transformation, sustainability, and scalability within the African food and agriculture sector. Consideration will be given based on the projects' existing achievements and their potential to stimulate growth, make a meaningful impact, and drive innovation in the industry. There is a heightened focus on initiatives that aim to establish fair, traceable, and regenerative value chains.

Participation in the IDS offers project owners a unique chance to receive constructive feedback, align with investor expectations, and strategically position their ventures for greater success.

The basic criteria for consideration are as follows:

  • Required investment: USD$50,000 - USD$250,000; USD$250,000 - USD$1,000,000; or USD$1,000,000 and above

  • A minimum of 3 years of consistent historical achievements

  • Evidence of capital efficiency in the past 12 months.

  • A clear demonstration of substantial market opportunity.
